Open Legal Consultation

by (young)MAK + Art Law Clinic

(y)MAK and the Vienna Art Law Clinic (Vienna Faculty of Law) invite you to an open legal consultation in the MAK Columned Main Hall. Young artists will be able to receive information on practical topics such as contract law, freedom of art, and copyright provided by students of the Vienna Faculty of Law. The artists will also be given the opportunity of receiving low-threshold legal advice on personal questions (with registration). The Vienna Art Law Clinic (VALC) is a project by the Department of Innovation and Digitalization in Law at the University of Vienna. In the context of the Art Law Clinic, students at the Faculty of Law provide pro bono legal consultations for young artists—an exciting and unique project that offers aspiring lawyers practical insights into legal work and the young art scene! For artists, the Art Law Clinic aims to be a place to go for legal questions concerning their creative work.
