MAK Friday Lab: Objects that tell stories

with the picture book author, Sigrid Eyb-Green

In this workshop, children will create their own personal artist books, in which special objects tell their stories, whether it be a stone from the beach, a gift from their grandmother, or a treasure they found. Inspired by the artist books in the MAK exhibition Turning Pages, they will create personal archives. Using stamps and drawings, supplemented by short sentences or images and symbols, they will create small visual stories that artistically combine text and images.
Please bring your own special favorite things!

A free workshop for elementary school students as part of the TURNING PAGES exhibition.
