Reading Room invites visitors to explore the intersections of art, architecture, and the printed word through the lens of small presses, artists’ books, and experimental publications.
The exhibition foregrounds the role of printed matter as a critical space for exploring architectural ideas and artistic practice.

In addition to these printed works, Reading Room will feature newly commissioned furniture, crafted to engage with the history of built-ins and custom designs integral to Schindler’s works. In commissioning these new works, the exhibition aims to surface the often-overlooked stories of skilled artisans who contributed to shaping the built environment, revealing hidden narratives within traditional architectural archives.
